About herself.
A domestic-violence organization invited her to a closed professional panel on financial control in wealthy households.
No press initially.
She described how Warren used money not by refusing necessities but by making every independent choice feel economically expensive.
Separate credit card canceled after arguments.
Travel budgets changed.
Lawyer fees threatened.
Promises about homes and trusts tied to “peace.”
Nothing as crude as starving a spouse.
Control can wear cashmere.
Then she described violence.
A slap.
The wall.
The golf club striking the workbench.
No sensationalism.
Afterward, a transcript circulated with permission.
Warren called her a liar publicly.
Then retracted after his lawyer reminded him there were old photographs, medical notes, and witnesses to some incidents.
He never faced criminal charges for decades-old conduct that had not been reported and often lacked sufficient evidence.
That frustrated people.
Law is not moral bookkeeping.
