My own family needed work too.
It was easy to look at Warren and say:
Hales abuse women.
Then ignore the Marconi men who had spent generations using intimidation in other forms.
My uncle Enzo once punched a cousin during a business dispute twenty years earlier.
No charge.
My grandfather threw plates.
My father yelled until rooms emptied.
Our family had become lawful commercially faster than emotionally.
So I changed security protocols.
Bodyguards were not family enforcers.
No escorting adult relatives from meetings unless safety required it.
No standing behind someone during a vote for effect.
No “teaching respect.”
No removing phones.
No preventing exits.
Security protects.
It does not perform hierarchy.
