I hated:
discovers.
As if she were a misplaced bank account.
Another:
CARTER PATRIARCH HID GRANDDAUGHTER FOR YEARS.
Closer.
Reporters surrounded Megan’s home once.
I wanted to send men.
No.
We hired normal private security through licensed channels.
Police were notified of harassment.
Megan moved temporarily by choice to a hotel paid through Eliza’s trust because photographers had exposed the address.
No intimidation.
No one’s camera mysteriously broke.
That mattered.
I gave one statement.
“My daughter is a minor. Her privacy matters more than public curiosity. Historical decisions by my late father and others are being addressed through proper legal processes.”
Boring.
The reporters hated it.
Excellent.
The Carter Descendant Trust recognized Eliza after paternity judgment.
No fight.
I could have litigated technical language.
Did not.
